Each year, Rotary awards up to 130 fully-funded fellowships for dedicated leaders from around the world to study at one of our peace centres in the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Sweden.

Since the program began in 2002, the Rotary Peace Centers have trained more than 1,300 fellows who now work in more than 115 countries. Many serve as leaders in governments, NGOs, the military, education, law enforcement, and international organizations like the United Nations and the World Bank.

The Rotary Peace Fellowship is designed for leaders with work experience in peace and development. Our fellows are committed to community and international service and the pursuit of peaceThrough academic training, practice, and global networking opportunities, the Rotary Peace Centers program develops the capacity of peace and development professionals or practitioners to become experienced and effective catalysts for peace.

Level of Fellowship: Rotary Peace Fellowship is available for the Master's studies.

Fellowship Programs:
  • Master’s Degree Programs: Accepted candidates study peace and development issues with research-informed teaching and a diverse student body. The programs last 15 to 24 months and include a two- to three-month field study, which participants design themselves. The programs last 15 to 24 months and include a two- to three-month field study, which participants design themselves.
  • Professional Development Certificate Program: During the one-year program, experienced peace and development professionals with diverse backgrounds gain practical skills to promote peace within their communities and across the globe. Fellows complete field studies and they also design and carry out social change initiatives.
Eligibility:
  • Proficiency in English; as a second language is strongly recommended.
  • Demonstrated commitment to international understanding and peace.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Master’s degree applicants: minimum three years of related full-time work or volunteer experience, bachelor’s degree.
  • Certificate applicants: minimum five years of related full-time work or volunteer experience, strong academic background.
Note:
  • You are not eligible if you are an active Rotary member, or employee of a Rotary club, Rotary International, or other Rotary entity.

FellowshipThese fellowships cover tuition and fees, room and board, round-trip transportation, and all internship and field-study expenses.

CoSiNC offering Postdoctoral Researcher Fellowships in CoSiNC Research Lab at Istanbul Medipol University, Istanbul, TurkeyCommunications, Signal Processing, and Networking Center (CoSiNC) group at Istanbul Medipol University have several great projects towards 6G wireless research. The group was formed to build a strong partnership with local and global industry and government research labs by supporting research projects and establishing a state-of-the-art 5G and beyond wireless laboratory at Istanbul Medipol University. CoSINC also serves as a talent development program and educates the future stars of the wireless communication landscape. CoSiNC is seeking two talented individuals to assume the post-doctoral researcher position in the CoSINC lab.

Job Description: The post-doctoral researchers will work with the CoSINC group coordinators and actively participate in the organization and management of teaching and/or research projects, demos and events. Act as contact person/ambassador to promote the lab, the industry and government partners and related university activities to the community. Participate in or facilitate research projects related to the lab. Also,  expected to participate heavily in research activities, and collaborate with and mentor graduate students.

Candidate Profile:

  • PhD degree specialising in wireless communications.
  • Good publication record.
  • Proficiency in the English language.

Global Changemaker Fellowship Program for International Students

Empowering young global leaders to accelerate their transformative initiatives. GCF is a 10-month advancement program intended to interface and develop a pipeline of Social Change Leaders who are focused on handling challenges in their local communities. Throughout the program, the fellows continue to implement their initiative while participating in immersive workshops, training and mentorship. The fellowship equips changemakers with an opportunity to get access to global knowledge, community, training and tools to become more effective collaborators of change and grow their initiatives.

  • Adaptive and Collaborative Leadership - Catalyzing and embracing the process of creating change through collaboration.
  • Systems Thinking - Designing solutions for all stakeholders by examining problems through a systems lens.

  • Dedicated leaders are aged 13-30 Years with an entrepreneurial mindset and approach toward solving community-centric challenges.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to community development in social entrepreneurship or leadership.
  • Leading or an integral part of building an initiative along the lines of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • Willing to undergo an intensive 10-month-long personal and professional leadership development.
  • Vision for transforming and scaling their initiative.
