Australia Awards Scholarships - Australian Development Scholarships for Bachelors, Masters, and PhD

Australia Awards Scholarships for international students are open for Australian Awards Approved Countries. The scholarship allows Master's level programmes in the field of all subjects taught at Australian Universities. Australia Awards Scholarships, formerly known as Australian Development Scholarships (ADS), provide opportunities for people from developing countries, particularly those in the Indo-Pacific region, to undertake full-time undergraduate or postgraduate study at participating Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions.

Field of Study:

  • All subjects, except;
  • Australia Awards are not available for training in areas related to flying aircraft, nuclear technology or military training.

Eligibility: To be eligible to receive a Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a minimum of 18 years of age on 1 February of the year commencing the scholarship.
  • Be a citizen of a participating country (Asia, Pacific, and the Middle East) and be residing in and applying for the scholarship from their country of citizenship.
  • Asia - Participating Countries: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam.
  • Pacific - Participating Countries: Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu.
  • Middle East - Participating Countries: Palestinian Territories.
  • Not being a citizen of Australia, holding permanent residency in Australia, or applying for a visa to permanently live in Australia.
  • Not be married to, engaged to, or a de facto of a person who holds, or is eligible to have, Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency, at any time during the application, selection or mobilization phases (note: residents of Cook Islands, Niue and Tokelau with New Zealand citizenship are eligible but must apply for a Student visa [subclass 500]).
  • Not be current-serving military personnel.

FULBRIGHT Scholarships in USA for Pakistani Students

Fulbright is the flagship scholarship program of the United States - Department of State. Fulbright-Higher Education Commission (HEC) PhD scholarship is funded by the Government of Pakistan and managed by the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) under the Fulbright policies and regulations. So, apply now for graduate study in the United States Fulbright Scholarship.

The Fulbright scholarship funds graduate study in the United States for a Master's or PhD degree, including tuition, required textbooks, airfare, a living stipend, and health insurance. USEFP also assists with the visa process. Pakistani Fulbrighters are studying at universities all over the United States.

Eligibility:

  • Pakistani citizens with solid academic histories, residing in Pakistan and committed to returning and serving Pakistan are welcome to apply.
  • All disciplines are eligible except Clinical Medicine, People in the Field of Energy, Water, Agriculture, Public Health, Education, Social Sciences, Journalism and Mass Communication, Arts and Culture Management including Heritage Conservation and Museum Studies, Urban and Regional Planning, Environmental Science or Environmental Studies, Security Studies or Peace Studies, and Data Science are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Eligible Master's applicants will have a four-year Bachelor's degree or a Bachelor's or Master's combination (16 years of formal education) and PhD applicants will have a Master's. M.Phil., or a comparable degree (18 years of formal education) from an accredited university.
  • The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is required for all applicants.
  • Applicants should be prepared to complete grants without accompanying dependents if need be.

Note:

  • The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) will be required from all the selected candidates.
  • Plagiarism and misrepresentation in an application will lead to disqualification at any program stage.
